Position Summary

The organization is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) to join its expanding outpatient practice in Salisbury, North Carolina.

This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services with strong clinical support, efficient workflows, and a focus on quality patient outcomes. Physicians will collaborate with experienced providers, advanced practice clinicians, care coordinators, and support staff in a team-oriented setting.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services in an outpatient setting

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions

  • Perform annual wellness visits, preventive screenings, and routine health assessments

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Coordinate care with specialists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

  • Educate patients on preventive health, disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings

  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on long-term health outcomes

Qualifications

Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Residency Training: Completion of an accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency program

Licensure: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine; eligible for North Carolina medical licensure

Experience: Prior outpatient primary care experience preferred; new graduates welcome to apply
